It shows the struggles and joy of youthful times. It follows a girl named Eve and her two childhood friends, Rhys and Evan.Prologue - Spoiler:
It was a bright and sunny day as Eve set foot in Winfield, her hometown. Ah… memories… she thought happily in her head. It had been years since she came back to visit, she wondered if anyone would remember her? She passed by her old apartment, which was now occupied by another tenant. Hopefully they’re taking good care of it… Eve hoped in her head, she wanted to go inside and smell in the familiar vanilla scent, but it would be weird to barge into someone else’s apartment. She continued to stroll down memory lane. Images and memories were played from her head, to the scene where they were actually created. She smiled to herself, humming a sweet tune. The lullaby also brought back youthful memories of her high school life, making her tear up a little. They were the best years of her life, too many good things, and painful things, happened at that time. Her tears were bittersweet. Eve threw the flat pebbles into the water, seeing them skip perfectly on the surface. Ah, someone taught me this in high school. She remembered now. His smile was hard to forget anyways. He was the one that gave her pain, happiness, and all the emotions you could think of. Eve laughed lightly as she remembered fun memories with him. She then walked down a certain neighborhood down a certain sidewalk, closing her eyes; she remembered the everyday conversations she had in the morning with her childhood friends. They always went to the convenience store right beside their apartment, always buying melon bread from the old man who secretly gave them an extra one for free. She was happy to see it still up and running, and to see the same man still there. “One melon bread please! Put extra chocolate!” Eve exclaimed as she entered the store. The storeowner’s eyes glittered with joy as he saw the familiar face of the now grown woman. “Eve! You’re all grown up! I haven’t seen you in ages! Why haven’t you come to visit sooner?” He exclaimed as he cheerfully gave her two melon bread filled with rich, dark chocolate. “Sorry! I’ve been pretty busy lately; I didn’t have time to visit.” Eve sheepishly scratched her head as she gratefully accepted the melon bread. She sat down at a table and talked with him. “Ah, you’ve become a writer? Am I correct? Don’t you have a best seller? What is it called again? Blossom? I believe?” He bombarded her with hundreds of questions, trying to catch up with her life. “Yes, yes, yes, and yes. All correct.” She replied back, taking a hungry bite out of her bread. “I didn’t know it would become so popular.” “Well, stories that have the author’s own experiences in it are always sure to become best sellers. There are more thorough emotions and scenes am I right?” “Yes you are!” She laughed. They talked for ages until it became sunset, where Eve regretfully had to say goodbye. Her energy was drained from her as she came to a certain spot, a certain point in her life that she absolutely hated. The place of sadness, regret, and guilt.

| Tokyo walked by through the literature section of the Shopping Centre. She had always been interested in books and reading them. A new shop had caught her eye, she quickly skipped in, excited to see what it has to offer. She saw a pretty blonde girl standing behind the counter. "Hello Hello! I'm Tokyo! Nice to meet you, pretty girl," she cheered, happily. "I see you have a book store going on," Tokyo peeked behind her. "May I buy something?" | |
